Swisscom Broadcast acquires Veertly event platform

• Four years after developing the first prototype and two years after closing a seed financing round, the virtual event platform Veertly is being acquired by Swisscom Broadcast
• The strategic acquisition opens a world of possibilities for growth and the evolution of the technology the Veertly team has built

Swisscom Broadcast is part of the Swisscom Group, a major telecommunications provider in Switzerland, and has acquired the virtual event platform Veertly. Launched four years ago with the vision of connecting people globally, Veertly has established itself as an innovative platform for virtual and hybrid events. Thousands of events have been hosted on the Veertly platform from small workshops and networking events to large townhall meetings, corporate conferences, and international exhibitions. Veertly served clients in more than 20 countries in particular many SMEs in the DACH market as well as internationally renowned brands.

After the seed financing round in 2021 with participation from coparion and business angels, this strategic acquisition marks a major milestone for Veertly. It opens new avenues for growth and the opportunity to further enhance the technology. Swisscom Broadcast's move emphasizes its strong commitment to providing top-tier virtual and hybrid event solutions.
